Once you have submitted your application, it will be processed by the Department of Home Affairs. The processing time will vary depending on the visa you are applying for, but it can take several months.

The average processing time for VETASSES preparation is between 8 to 10 weeks, which might be slightly longer than two months in some cases. The timeframe is simply a guideline, and it may be extended in some cases based on the documents and the case’s complexity. However, for an extra fee, priority processing is available, which allows you to receive the results in 10 business days.

The application fits the Eligibility Criteria for Priority Processing, according to VETASSESS.

Fee payment, including the appropriate GST (if applicable), is received.

VETASSESS requires up to two business days to examine an application for eligibility after receiving it. Once this process is completed, the applicant will receive an email with a status update.

Within 10 business days, applications that have been confirmed as eligible will be evaluated. For applications that do not meet the Eligibility Criteria or eligible applications that cannot be completed within the nominated timeframe, the Priority Processing fee will be refunded.
